Refund policy

RETURN AND REFUND POLICY

Effective from 3 August 2026.

Right of withdrawal

As a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase without giving a reason within 14 days.

The withdrawal period begins on the day after you, or a person appointed by you, receive the goods. If an order is delivered in several parts, the withdrawal period begins on the day after the final item is received.

To exercise your right of withdrawal within this period, you must:

  • use the electronic withdrawal and return function available on our website; or

  • send a clear statement to info@montessorisolution.eu.

Please include your name, order number and details of the products you wish to return. You may also use the model withdrawal form included in our Terms and Conditions of Sale.

You do not need to wait for our approval to exercise your statutory right of withdrawal. However, please contact us before sending the goods so that we can identify the return and provide the necessary instructions.

Returns

After notifying us of your withdrawal, you must return the goods without undue delay and no later than 14 days after giving notice.

Return address:

Montessori Solution
Julija Manko
Långeken 402

Sweden

We do not accept cash-on-delivery returns. Personal delivery to the return address is possible only by prior agreement.

Return shipping

For an ordinary return under the right of withdrawal, the customer pays the direct cost of return shipping.

The customer must purchase and pay for a suitable return service. We recommend using a trackable shipping method.

For goods that can be returned as standard parcels, the current estimated return cost is approximately SEK 300 per parcel, depending on weight, dimensions, carrier and current prices.

If an order must be returned in several parcels, return shipping is paid separately for each parcel. As a guide, two parcels may therefore cost approximately SEK 600 and three parcels approximately SEK 900.

If the return concerns a defective or transport-damaged product, or if we sent the wrong product, Montessori Solution will cover the necessary return shipping costs.

Condition of returned goods

You may inspect the product in the same way as would normally be possible in a physical shop.

The product does not have to be unused or in its original packaging for the statutory right of withdrawal to apply. However, we recommend using the original packaging where possible because it may provide better protection during transport.

The product must be packaged safely, and all accompanying parts, fittings and instructions must be returned.

If the product has been handled more than necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and function, we may deduct an amount corresponding to the reduction in value caused by that handling. This may include visible signs of use, damage or missing parts.

Refunds

When the right of withdrawal is exercised, we will refund the price of the goods and, if the entire order is returned, the cost of the least expensive standard delivery method offered at the time of purchase.

Additional costs resulting from the customer choosing a more expensive delivery method will not be refunded.

If only part of an order is returned, the original delivery charge will not be refunded when the delivery charge would have been the same for the products retained by the customer.

The refund will be made without undue delay and no later than 14 days after we receive notice of withdrawal. We may withhold the refund until we receive the returned goods or the customer provides evidence that the goods have been sent back.

Refunds are normally made using the same payment method used for the original purchase. After the refund has been processed, additional time may be required before it appears in the customer’s account, depending on the bank or payment service provider.

Damaged, defective or incorrectly delivered products

Please inspect your order as soon as possible after receiving it.

If a product is damaged or defective, or if you received the wrong product, contact us at info@montessorisolution.eu and provide:

  • the order number;

  • a description of the problem;

  • photographs showing the product, damage and packaging;

  • information about when the problem was discovered.

Visible transport damage should be reported as soon as possible. This does not restrict your statutory right to complain.

Under the Swedish Consumer Sales Act, consumers have the right to complain about an original defect for up to three years. A complaint must be submitted within a reasonable time after the defect is discovered. A complaint made within two months of discovering the defect is always considered to have been submitted in time.

An accepted complaint will be handled in accordance with applicable consumer law, for example through repair, replacement, a price reduction or a refund.

Exceptions from the right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made according to the customer’s specifications or clearly personalised goods, such as an individually engraved product, provided that the customer was informed of the exception before purchase.

Sale and outlet products remain covered by the statutory right of withdrawal. However, a cosmetic imperfection clearly described before purchase cannot be claimed as an undisclosed defect. All other statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

Exchanges

For an ordinary exchange, the fastest option is to return the product in accordance with this policy and then place a new order.

If the product is defective, contact us instead so that the matter can be handled as a complaint.
